Support Groups @
The Early Childhood Education Center

In our busy world today, families are often over-scheduled and
under-connected. Parents often feel isolated, for not only are they
under-connected to their own families, but parents are often
under-connected to other parents. After every workshop that I present,
parents thank me for the workshop and they always add that it was so
helpful to hear that other parents are experiencing the same issues,
dealing with the same challenges, and having the same conversation
and power struggles with their children.

The Support Groups offered by the Early Childhood Education Center provide valuable
opportunities to share parenting issues, challenges and struggles, as well as tips and
solutions in a comfortable, supportive, low-key atmosphere with other parents.
The Support Groups are sometimes organized around general parenting and sometimes
are organized around specific topics such as:
  • Single Parenting
  • Parenting Preschoolers
  • Adoptive Parents
  • Parents dealing with Anger and Aggression
  • Separated and Divorced Families
  • Parents of Twins
  • Co-parenting differences
  • Family Stress

When the support groups are in session, they will be added to the current schedule.
